For the 14th featured video of the day, I’ve picked Pasquale D’Silva’s

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to hear colors? Course not, because that sounds ridiculous. But believe it or not, there is actually a genetic condition called Synesthesia, that in some people, make them see certain colors when hearing certain sounds.

No, really. Pasquale D’Silva, the creator of the color based music sampler Keezy has this condition, and created a short video for all of us who don’t have it to see what it would be like. And I have to say, having synesthesia seems pretty cool, although I would think it would be distracting.

Anyhow, D’Silva says that he can associate pretty much anything that goes through his senses with a sound. In a Fast Company interview, he says that dogs are purple and brown, the sound of a heater is a peachy color, and his partner on Keezy, Jake, is red and black. Whatever he means by that, it certainly does seem like we are missing out on something pretty dang cool, since we don’t have synesthesia like D’Silva does.

I highly recommend you watch the Fast Company interview below, and to check back here every day to find new great videos like this. (or sign up by email, your choice)
