Famous for his brilliant short film Submarine Sandwich, and today’s featured video, Fresh Quacamole, PES uses stop-motion to transform normal objects to make you look at them in a whole new way. He has done many short films with food, and taking every day objects and turning them into admittedly not so appetizing dishes but still creates a very entertaining video.
In Fresh Quacamole, PES uses everyday objects such as dice, christmas tree lights and grenades to create a bowl of guac. Using the power of animation, PES has mastered his style so well, that if you didn’t know any better, you would think the inside of grenades were meant to be eaten and made into quac.
Although many have tried to imitate his heavily stylized way of animating usually considered normal situations, PES is still the best at what he does, and continues to win awards and dazzle audiences with his amazing animations.
