You probably have, as this practice has spread throughout the Internet, and even over to other social apps like Instagram. The pride of being the first one to comment on a certain picture or video is magical; that’s why so many people all over the world are typing it on ever single video and picture ever.
Rhett and Link, the godfathers of comedy music videos, are here with another Song Biscuit this time called The First Comment Song. The song, in a soul/pop style, embodies everything I said above: how everyone types “first”, how they could have said anything intelligent but decided to say “first” instead, and how you find out that you were actually the 28th person to type first. Plus, it’s surprisingly catchy and well done, considering it’s a song about a random topic and made in a very short time based off of Twitter suggeustions.
