Loading...Titanic is one of the most famous and iconic movies ever, especially known for it’s amazing soundtrack, including the song My Heart Will Go On. The song is an emotional ballad sung by Celine Dion, and is a great song totally fitting the overall theme of the movie. But, what would it sound like if it was played, rather than in a ballad style, like it was a, as it says in the video description, “a Jackie Wilson / Frankie Valli – era pop tune.”
That’s exactly what Postmodern Jukebox did. The channel specializes in this type of video: performing songs in old styles. Often, as it is in this video, their new version sounds almost as good if not better than the original. Whereas the original My Heart Will Go On is a very melancholy, sad tune PMJ’s version is very upbeat and fun to listen too. Plus, the musicians are great, and the guest singer Mykal Kilgore does a fantastic job, especially hitting those high notes.
