Featured Vid #185 – Hey Ya! 60s’ Soul Cover

I usually write a fair amount on the videos I feature, but this video speaks for itself. Postmodern Jukebox’s newest video, the great music based YouTube channel, features amazing singer Sara Niemietz with the PMJ band covering the hip-hop/rap class is Hey Ya!. But rather than covering in a normal, boring way, Sara and the band covered it in a 60s’ Soul style, giving the song a smooth, snazzy vibe. Altogether a great video, and as I said, there’s not much more I can say. It speaks (or sings?) for itself.
