We take for granted that we evolved to see a certain wavelength of light that just so happens to let us get information about the world around use, but we never really stop to think about what it is really that is going into my eyeballs. (they changed their name to be more pronounceable and recognizable, which is probably a good idea.
As it turns out, light is a very interesting thing that just happens to be key to human perception. As you may have already known, there are many more type of light than just visible light, because as the wavelength of light gets longer it slowly develops new properties, which we classify in different types of light. In A Nutshell does a great job of explaining exactly what light it and how it works, along with making a visually interesting and aesthetically pleasing video.
