There inhabited our homes for as long as those homes have existed, and have risen to prominence again with the creation of the Internet, where their cuteness rules supreme. (this may be an exaggeration, but not by much) So it would certainly be terrible if all the cats on Earth suddenly died? Besides for breaking the hearts of cat lovers everywhere, cats disappearing wouldn’t have that big of an effect on our lives, right?
Well, no. We all know cats for their predatorial instincts and frequent killing of small animals like birds, mice, and other rodents.
