There’s no doubt it takes an incredible amount of skill and practice, as it’s not easy to take a wallet or phone right out of someone’s pocket without them noticing. But it’s still theft; at least, most of the time.
Enter Apollo Robbins, the Gentleman Theif. Hailed as the greatest pickpocket in the world, Apollo is not only a very talented pickpocket but also a great performer. Making a living through Vegas shows and TV appearances, Apollo Robbins somehow turned the art of pickpocketing into an act of theft into something the “victim” actually enjoys. Along with giving a hilarious demonstration of his abilities, Apollo talks all about how he uses pickpocketing to learn about human perception and how he deceives it through his carefully crafted art of misdirection. Altogether, Apollo did a fantastic job creating and giving a talk that was not only entertaining, but also very interesting and informative.
