After all, whales are one of the largest animals in the world. So when one dies, what happens once it has sinks to the bottom of the ocean? There’s not much food to begin with down in the depths, so an animal as big as a whale must be a big deal, right? I’ve never had so many questions about dead whales before this.

Although dead whale carcasses may not seem like such an interesting topic for a video, what happens when a whale dies, called a “whale fall”, is much more interesting than you might think.
