Although we’re still half a month away the holiday season is in full swing, decorations going up, holiday sales hitting stores, Christmas music being played in malls and on the radio. Back before Thanksgiving, I featured the song That’s Christmas To Me by Pentatonix to get you in the Christmas spirit, so I thought now would be a good time to feature another video off their album. While we may be busy buying presents and putting up decorations, there’s always time every year to see a Christmas themed show or performance, such as a symphony or a play. (I would know – I’ve already seen 3 Christmas related shows)
A popular performance that many see every holiday season is The Nutcracker, a ballet performed all over the world. Famous for its timeless dancing and music, The Nutcracker is full of iconic songs, including the song Pentatonic covered in this video, The Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy. The original song is great in its own right, but Pentatonix also did an incredible job of arranging, singing, and editing together this wonderful cover for the holiday season.
