Have you ever seen a street pianist? Probably not, as pianos are so big and heavy that dragging one around would be excessively laborious. But that challenge was accepted by a man named Dotan Negrin, the first street pianist (that I know of) that’s recognized around the world and has more than 3 million accumulated views on YouTube. Dotan is the pianist and creator behind Piano Around The World, and does exactly what his channel name suggests: he hauls his piano around with him and performs on streets in countries all over the world. From Paris to Buenos Aires, Dotan had had some incredible experiences on the road, performing for people from all cultures and ethnicities. Since the inception of the channel a year ago, all these experiences have been documented and uploaded for our enjoyment.

In today’s featured video, Dotan performs on the streets of Paris, in an area called Le Marais, and even in front of a sunset adorned Eiffel Tower. Along with performing solo, Dotan also was joined in two occasions by other street performers, one on violin and the other saxophone, and performed an impromptu duet with them as well. As well as enjoying great music by Dotan, as he is a very good pianist, we also get to follow his journey in Paris, and through his channel, around the world.
