Loading...Star Wars: The Force Awakens opened in theaters just 23 days ago, and yet it seems as if we’ve all seen it already. Smashing records, the movie made an incredible $247 million on it’s opening weekend, beating out Jurassic World by $40 million, $120 million of that on it’s first day. And that’s not even surprising, as it is Star Wars after all, and way back when the first teaser trailer was released we all knew we would go and see it. But thinking back to that first trailer, there was one question we all had in our minds: what was that weird lightsaber with the crossbar that Kylo Ren had? The movie didn’t give us any explanation of that, although the crossbar was very effective in fighting lightsaber versus lightsaber against (SPOILER ALERT!!!) Finn and Rey.
In this great video by Mr.TVCow, a jedi with a mysterious box comes face to face with an alien enemy; who also just so happens to also have a lightsaber. I won’t spoil what happens next, but I can say that the video does draw inspiration from Kylo Ren’s new weapon. With good special effects and production value, the video is altogether very entertaining and fun to watch.
