There’s no doubt that religion has played an incredibly important part in shaping the world we have today, in good ways and bad. History certainly wouldn’t be the same without organized religion, 84% of people worldwide today belonging to some faith, one-third of which belonging to Christianity. With such a high percentage of the world believing in the existence of a God or gods, it’s no surprise that arguments have been made for and against God’s existence over the years.

From philosopher Anslem of Canterbury in 1033 to the monk Gaunilo in 1083, today’s featured video by Crash Course talks about many different arguments made for the existence of God, their counterarguments, and the flaws in both the original arguments and their counterarguments. It’s a very interesting video, helping you decide for yourself what you believe in an informed (and thoroughly entertained) way.
