You might have heard about the recent live-action reboot of the Disney classic The Jungle Book. Using the magic of modern animation and computer graphics, the creators behind the reboot bring the previously animated world of the movie to life, full of lush forests, stunning animals, and astounding action sequences (to be honest, I haven’t even seen the movie – although even from just the trailer you can tell the CG is pretty astounding). But the one outstanding attribute of the original Jungle Book movie that everyone remembers isn’t necessarily the setting, but the soundtrack.

The YouTube channel The Piano Guys, to commemorate the release of the reboot, went down to Chitzen Itza, a Mayan temple, and created a music video for their mashup of the soundtrack of The Jungle Book with the classic piece Sarabande. That may seem like an odd combination, but in addition to the videos’ stunning shots of the Mexican rainforests & ancient Mayan temples, the end result is a quite amazing music video.
