Drawn, written, and colored all by Bill Waterson, Calvin and Hobbes chronicled the adventures of a rambunctious and imaginative boy Calvin and his pet tiger, Hobbes. For 10 straight years, the strip ran in newspapers, as well as in many compilation books over the years, constantly defying the conventions set by other the medium of print and other comic artists.
