Loading...A trailer says a lot about a movie. Of course, most of the funny parts will be the trailer to make people think the movie’s funnier than it actually is, but a trailer can give you a pretty good insight into what the movie will be like. But think again.
Screen Junkies, a popular film channel, has a great series called “Honest Trailers” which are exactly what you would think: a series that creates hilarious fake movie trailers about what actually should be told about a movie before watching it. Almost every time they get it right every time, although it’s really only funny if you’ve seen the movie.
That’s why I’ve picked a classic movie for the first featured video from Honest Trailers: The Lion King. No doubt you’ve seen it, and I’m sure you can imagine how much can be made fun of it. Plus, during the trailer, they make fun of the many famous songs in the movie, including “Hakuna Matata” and that opening song that nobody knows the words to but everyone sings.
