Loading...To be honest, Video Shakedown wouldn’t be here without Youtube. A great majority of the content I feature (and watch) is from YouTube, as there is just so much more quality content on YouTube than any other online video site. (not that I don’t occasionally find great videos on Vimeo) It’s amazing what a great community has been built on this video platform, and I’m very grateful to YouTube for starting such an amazing site.
In this interesting video by Matthew Santoro, Matthew goes over 10 surprising facts about our beloved Youtube; how it started, some of it’s milestones, and more. For instance: more than 300 hours of video is uploaded to Youtube every minute. That’s way more content than any other content generation company in the world by an order of magnitude. Ok, I know most of the content isn’t of great quality, but enough is good to make YouTube as popular as it is.
