Loading...Everyone knows what a bank is, it’s just a part of life. Depositing money, taking out money, taking loans, all of this is part of the adult life nowadays. And it’s all very complicated, imposing deadlines, paperwork, and more on you all the time. But what’s even more complicated, and also less known by the public, is how these banks work, how they make money, and what really goes on in those mysterious 50 story glass office buildings.
The video, by science and educational channel Kurzegesagt, simply and concisely explains, basically, how the banking business works, how it started, and more. Also, the video goes over why banks caused the financial crash of 2008, and how they are slowly becoming evil and less in the interest of the people it’s providing service to.
Not that we don’t totally need banks, it’s just good that we understand a little more about how they run.
