Loading...My personal favorite movie of the year, Interstellar, is a new, interesting, and groundbreaking movie. Not only does it take science and astrophysics into account more than any other movie of its kind to date, even being hailed as pretty accurate by none other than patron saint of popular science, Neil DeGrasse Tyson.
But, if you’ve seen the movie, you know you left the theater (or your couch) and said, “Wait, what?” Yes, some of the science is confusing, but at the very end of the movie they pretty much chuck science out the window. Aside from that, a movie so scientifically accurate it has renowned astrophysicist Kip Thorne as an advisor can’t possibly have that many problems that, say, Screen Junkies could make fun of like other movies, right?
Well, not really. In this Honest Trailer by Screen Junkies, the narrator with the awesome voice goes over many of the flaws in the movies, pointing out that while the plot is cool, some of the characters are pretty flat. If you’ve seen Interstellar, I’d advise you to watch this video right away. If you haven’t, watch Interstellar first and then watch this video.
