We seem to run into this problem all the time, such as when we try to make a social media account just under our name and the username is taken, or when we search our friends account and have to look through a list of people with the same names. And that’s not unexpected, as there are much more names than there are people who have these accounts online. In fact, as Michael from Vsauce goes over in this video, the ratio of names to people is surprisingly low.

And, eventually, there will be someone with your exact name, that is way more famous than you, and replaces you as the one person with that name in the grand old history books.
