Loading...The Super Bowl was two days ago, the Broncos taking home the trophy. But let’s be honest here: the real highlight of the big game was the great selection of ads played in between passages of play. Over the years, the Super Bowl has become famous for it’s fantastic ads, and companies have noticed, too. Every year, major corporation battle for best ad of the year, and occasionally, one company hits it out of the park. In my opinion, the ads this year didn’t quite live up to last year’s standard, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t get any great ads.
Today’s featured video was probably my favorite ad of the game, run by Honda, advertising their new truck (the Honda Ridgeline). While I’m not sure what exactly the ad had to do with the Ridgeline, besides for having the car drive through the scene occasionally, the real stars of the ad were the singing sheep, yes, signing sheep, belting out an a capella version of Queen’s Somebody To Love.
