Loading...The fight against climate change that this upcoming generation will have to face is often referred to in the media and in the news as a “fight for survival”, a fight to save the planet. And while that may be motivating, it’s not really an accurate description of what the fight against climate change is all about. This inaccuracy is explained very well in this great video by Vox, titled “What people get wrong about climate change”. Going through pretty much the whole history of mankind and even before that, the video tells the story of how we got into this mess and why it’s really not about the earth.
As the video argues, this fight isn’t about saving the earth. It’s about us, as we live depend on this planet more than anything. Animated wonderfully, the video is both artistically great and full of interesting information at the same time, telling us, the viewers, all about our misconceptions about climate change.
