He’s taking over the republican political landscape, raining on the parade of the would-be likely candidates such as Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, and the now dropped out nominee Jeb Bush. Ratings for republican debates are higher than ever, even making one of the previous debates the most watched CNN program of all time. And yet as we near the general election in November, some are starting to worry; may Donald Trump actually become president?
Whether or not you think he’ll get the nomination (and then the presidency), it is interesting to see his effect on politics in general. The Nerdwriter, run and hosted by Evan Puschek, analyses how the political landscape, both on the republican and the democratic side, reacts to Trump’s campaign.
