Loading...For those of you who haven’t read the amazing page-turner that is The Martian by Andy Weir, the book is about Mark Watney, a NASA astronaut who got stranded on Mars during one of the first manned missions to Mars ever. When he’s there, he uses science and his sick botany skills to try to keep him alive to get him home. A sci-fi book for the ages, The Martian just had to be made into a movie, and guess what, it was. Coming out later this year on November 25, The Martian has been made into a feature film, directed by Ridley Scott and starring Matt Damon.
Today’s featured video is the first trailer for the movie, and it’s pretty promising. Showing clips from many parts of the movie, it certainly shows that The Martian will be an incredibly intense movie, much like Gravity, as they both involve suspenseful space scenes involving life-or-death situations. Overall, the movie looks pretty awesome, a suspenseful thriller of a sci-fi movie. Congrats to Andy Weir, and I can’t wait to see the movie later this year.
