Loading...The new Star Wars movie is coming out in a couple months, and as its been a decade since the last one the hype around The Force Awakens is pretty incredible. No that that’s bad or anything – I got my ticket this morning and the movie doesn’t come out until December 18th. And with hype comes people paying more attention to the brand, leading to Star Wars parodies, Star Wars themed videos, etc. Today’s featured video is a Star Wars related video by PBS Idea Channel, and one that takes stormtroopers, relatively simple characters, and goes all out philosophical on them.
The reason Mike discusses stormtroopers so much in this video is because they all seem to have a very strange habit: missing their targets. Stormtroopers are equity with blaster is in all of the Star Wars movies, but whenever Han Solo or Luke Skywalker ran into some stormtroopers they always seemed to miss their target. Even if it was 7 on 1, the main protagonists always came out on top. Now, this may seem like a cheap way to keep the main characters alive, but in this video Mike talks about some fan theories that think it’s more than that.
